My purpose is twofold, to assist the people in Haiti during their recovery; and to research 2011 VIM opportunities for Webster Hills. Come to the CLC for a great meal and catch up with everyone after the summer! September 1, 2010 Lay Speaking UpdateOur next round of Lay Speaking classes will be held September 18 and 25 at St. Andrew UMC in Florissant. Jeff Fothergill will be teaching the basic class. Volunteers will be needed to go to Bethesda and assist residents in getting to chapel. Please meet in the CLC parking lot at 1:50 pm to go over to Bethesda and be part of this important outreach ministry. We are finished around 3:15 pm. We need volunteers so please consider helping. Refreshments are served between 9:30 am and 9:45 am in the Franklin Lewis Chapel. Two HorsesThere is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing. Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind.
