Pastor Kim Jenne
![]() |
After graduating from Southeast Missouri State University, Kim moved to St. Louis for her first job in advertising. After getting settled, she looked in the yellow pages for a United Methodist Church and discovered Webster Hills UMC! Her six years at WHUMC shaped her Christian faith in a way that led her toward responding to a call from God to full-time vocational ministry. In 2008, Kim moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Candler School of Theology at Emory University. She also spent a year living and studying with British Methodists at the University of Cambridge in England. In summer 2012, she graduated with a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology and a Certificate in Theology for Ministry from the University of Cambridge and was appointed to Webster Hills UMC as its lead pastor. |
Kim considers herself a persistent, but not always consistent follower of Jesus (“a work in progress”). She is a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan whose earliest Cards memory is Darrell Porter hitting a clutch run-scoring single in the eighth inning of Game 7 of the 1982 World Series. After 10 years working in advertising and a master’s degree from Webster University in media literacy, Kim is very interested in the relationship between Church and culture and how we are shaped by our exposure and consumption of both. Integrating theology and the arts has been her concentration of study while in seminary and she is excited about worship that is fully sensory and experiential.
Peace+
Kim Jenne
