Mission Opportunities
Remember the families of Joplin this Holiday season through two mission opportunities:
- Through a network of caring Christians, surviors of Joplin's EF-5 tornado can be supported by donating items or funds. To see how you can help, visit Faith Happenings.
- Help families of Joplin get into the Spirit of Christmas by sharing a keepsake, donating Chrisitmas decorations, or donating money to help families purchase Christmas decorations. Although small in comparison to the homes, businesses, and ways of life that were lost, the Christmas decorations families treasured represent so much - family times, traditions, faith, and celebration. Please help us to restore some of that by sharing Christmas decorations and keepsakes with Joplin families.
Items will be collected on Friday, December 2nd from 10am - 2pm in the Christian Life Center at 1333 W Lockwood.
Use the Online Giving link to make your donation. Type your amount into the "Other" line and specific "Spirit of Christmas, Joplin" in the memo line.
Want to help collect or deliver? Contact Jorge Quinn at (314) 249-1055 (call or text).

It’s Free, It’s Easy, It’s Powerful
- We have a small group of women who volunteer their time to help couples during their wedding rehearsals and weddings. This is a unique and beautiful ministry that we offer. We are in need of a couple more folks who would be willing to minister in this way to new couple starting out in married life. Contact Scott Hall for more information.
- We have around fifty homebound folks who receive regular visits from a team of members of the church. These visits are very rewarding to the visitors and helps keep folks connected to the life of the church. We are in need of a few more folks to do at least a monthly visit. If you feel called to this ministry, please contact Scott Hall for more information.
