Adult Ministry
Adult Ministry
To grow in faith is to grow in love, not just for God and neighbor, but for your own God-created self. Spiritual growth, no matter where you are on your personal faith journey, requires space for reflection, accountability, and holy curiosity.
We invite you to grow your faith at Webster Hills. We offer a variety of classes, small groups and studies open to adults of all ages. Want to help form or lead a new small group, Sunday morning class, or other adult ministry opportunity? Pastor Ali Fields would love to talk to you!
Ongoing Spiritual Formation Groups:
Wondering Group
Sundays at 9am, The Great Hall in the Christian Life Center, across Berry Road from the Sanctuary
We are a group of adults who are wondering many things about life. We wonder how to raise our kids in a Christ-filled home. We wonder about God's purposes for our lives. We wonder how we can support each other and our community through life's messy times. And, of course, we wonder how we can celebrate with each other the wonderful times of our lives.
Ponder With Us Group
Sundays at 9am, McKelvey Room, WHUMC Education Building
We like to study contemporary issues in relation to our faith. We enjoy having guest speakers, discussions, and Bible study videos.
Inquirers Group
Sundays at 9am in Room 232, second floor of the Christian Life Center.
We are a group that’s very welcoming and we enjoy lively discussions with a wide variety of opinions and viewpoints. As “Inquirers,” we thrive on learning from each other. The class is developed around Bible study for those who are not Bible scholars. Fellow “inquiring” minds are always welcome!
Journey Group
Sundays at 11:30am, Room 232, second floor of the Christian Life Center
We strive to assist fellow members on a journey to become more Christlike through shared commitment to Biblical study, by caring for one another's physical and spiritual needs, and lively fellowship. All are welcome.

Coming Spring 2026!
A new small-group ministry for college students and young adults is in the works, under the direction of Student Ministry Coordinator Keshira Watson. If you are interested in joining the group or helping with it, please email Keshira.
