GROW: FIND A GROUP FOR YOU

CONNECT, GROW & SERVE! To fully engage in our community and to grow in our faith, we believe it is important to take next steps in these three areas. We CONNECT together in worship, GROW in small groups and SERVE down the hall, outside our doors and around the world!

Wondering Group

Sundays at 9am

We are a group of adults who are wondering many things about life.  We wonder how to raise our kids in a Christ filled home.  We wonder what God's purpose for our lives are.  We wonder how we can support each other and our community through life's messy times.  And of course we wonder how we can celebrate with each other the wonderful times of our lives.

Contemporary Class

Sundays at 9am

We like to study contemporary issues in relation to our faith. We enjoy having guest speakers, discussions, and bible study videos.

30/40 Somethings Group

Sundays at 9am

We are mostly parents with children pre-school age or just starting in school, but open to all!  Sunday mornings are split with social time and a small group study.  We also have a monthly social event.

Inquirer's Group

Sundays at 9am

The Inquirers is a very welcoming class, and enjoys lively discussions with a wide variety of opinions and viewpoints. The Inquirers thrive on learning from each other. The class is developed around Bible study for those who are not Bible scholars. We meet in the Christian Life Center in room 232. “Inquiring” minds are welcome to join us.

Journey Small Group (In-person and online)

Sundays at 11:30am

This Group strives to assist members on a journey to become more Christlike thru shared commitment to Biblical study, care of one another's physical and spiritual needs, and lively fellowship.   All are welcome.

Men's Bible Study Group (In-person and online)

Tuesdays at 6:30am

The Tuesday Morning Men’s Bible Study is a group of men who come together weekly to study Christ through the Bible and other resources.

We read books from both Old Testament and New Testament and take the time to relate these teachings to modern life.

There is no prescribed syllabus and our pace is geared toward discussion rather than goal-setting; this is not “Disciple Bible Study” nor “Read the Bible in 32-weeks”.

We meet from 6:30am-7:30am on Tuesday mornings in the Christian Life Center Library; please feel free to join us for coffee and discussion.

Friday Morning Women's Group (online)

Fridays at 6:30am

We meet on Friday mornings at 6:30am over Zoom.  We study the Bible one book at a time.  Join us for great discussion and learning.

"The Women’s Bible Study Group at Webster Hills United Methodist Church supports and welcomes all people into every phase of our church life. We celebrate God’s gift of diversity and value the wholeness made possible in a community equally shared and shepherded by all. We welcome and affirm people of every gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, who are also of every age, race, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, level of education, and family structure, and of every economic, immigration, marital, and social status, and so much more. We acknowledge that we live in a world of profound social, economic, and political inequities. As followers of Jesus, we commit ourselves to the pursuit of justice and pledge to stand in solidarity with all who are marginalized and oppressed. Through discussion and education, we strive to better understand those who are different from ourselves to bring about a more accepting society. We affirm that all people are created in the image of God. As beloved children of God, we are all worthy of God's love. We believe that no one is incompatible with the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ."
