Pastoral Care & Spiritual Guidance
Pastoral Care & Spiritual Guidance
Whether you are seeking prayer, a listening presence, support through grief or life transition, or just a conversation, we’re here for you.
Pastoral Visit
If you or a loved one would like a pastoral visit—whether due to illness, hospitalization, recovery at home, or another life moment—our pastors and care leaders are honored to walk with you. Due to privacy laws, hospitals and care facilities cannot automatically notify us, so we rely on families and friends to stay connected. To set up an appointment or request a call, Reach out to the church office at 314-961-3164 or email Pastor Ali Fields at afields@websterhillsumc.org to let us know about your needs and availability.
Prayer Request and Pastoral Care
You can also request prayers and a personal contact online. Complete our pastoral care request form and a pastor will be in touch. Whether you are seeking prayer, a listening presence, support through grief or life transition, or just a conversation, we’re here for you.
The Listening Place
Webster Hills offers weekly walk-in grief support every Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm through The Listening Place ministry, located in our Christian Life Center, 1333 W. Lockwood Ave., across from the sanctuary. Compassionate, trained volunteers provide a confidential space to share your story of loss. Click here for details.
Grief Support Group
Bethesda Hospice Care sponsors a monthly grief support group from 6 to 7:30 pm on the second Monday of each month in The Listening Place.
Compassionate Care Team
We also have a Prayer Ministry and Congregational Care teams comprised of lay members. The Prayer Team prays over each prayer request made via email, Connect Card or online Prayer Request Form. Our Congregational Care Team members regularly visit and check in with our homebound members and those in care facilities. Email Pastor Ali Fields if you know someone the team should reach out to.
