Webster Hills offers teens a place to accept God’s Discipleship Invitation to connect, grow and serve individually and collectively as a group. Our youth and their adult leaders strive to live out the church mission to “Follow Jesus and Change the World!” every day.

Connect — Love God:

Every aspect of our youth ministry is designed to help teens grow their personal faith stories. At least every other year, Webster Hills offers a three-month class that leads to Confirmation in the United Methodist Church. At Webster Hills, youth may begin the Confirmation process as early as age 13. The class includes retreats, service projects, and other spiritual exercises. At the successful conclusion of the process, the youth publicly "confirm" their intention to live the vows of the baptismal and membership covenant, officially joining the local congregation and The United Methodist Church. If a youth was not baptized as an infant, they can be baptized at the same time they are confirmed. For more information on Confirmation in the UMC, click here. 

Grow — Love Self: 

The Webster Hills Youth Ministry is a fully inclusive, Reconciling Ministries Network Youth Group. All teens are welcome and included here.

Serve — Love Neighbor: 

Students are encouraged to live with purpose through small groups, social events, and service inside and outside the doors of Webster Hills UMC. Summer Mission Trips, whether close to home or across the state or country, are a vital component of our youth ministry. Our youth also volunteer in the WHUMC Pumpkin Patch, participate in 5th Sunday worship services and churchwide mission opportunities.
